about the history of the department
Department of General Technical Sciences in 1976, the Department of "General Technical Sciences and Labor" was established in Samarkand as part of the former Pedagogical Institute named after S. Ayni. In this department from 1976 to 1978 docent A.Abdulayev, the head of the chair, members of the department are Ph.D., Prof. N.Saidakhmedov,N.M.Antoneva,docent A.Fayzullayev, docent Sh.Kuvondikov,A.Kuchkarov, N.Egamberdiev,senior lab.assis.G.Safoyeva worked. In 1978, the Department of "Fundamentals of Production" was separated from the Department of General Technical Sciences and Labor Education, and in the same year the Faculty of Physics and Technology was established. The dean of the faculty was docent A.Abdullaev. Prof. N.Saidakhmedov worked as the head of the chair of basics of production. From 1979 to 1992 docent. Toshbayev worked as the head of the chair.In 1978-1984 the department of general technical sciences and labor education was headed by the senior teacher M.Neryaev.At the department of General Technical Sciences and Labor Education in cooperation with the Leningrad Institute of Optics,the scientific and technical laboratory of economic accounting ''Termorat'' was headed by Ph.D.Prof G.I.Ikramov. In this laboratory, many scientists and researchers have conducted economic work and conducted scientific researches. They are: group manager docent.I.Isayev, prof.A.Salokhiddinov, prof.U.Yorkulov, prof.A.Alimov, Sh.Salimov, docent. A.Boboev, docent N.A.Kasimov, docent H.Norkorayev, docent O.Eshniyozov, docent S.Sirojov, senior researcher J.Kamilov worked.In 1984-1994 docent. A.Bakhriddinov was the head of the chair, members of the department at that time were A.Abdulaev, prof.N.Saidakhmedov, N.M.Anton`eva, docent I. Suvankulov, docent O. Eshniyozov, docent I. Isayev, docent O. Vakhobov, senior teacher U. Nuriev, senior teacher O. Pardayev, A.Urunov ,teacher F. Tashimov. Since August 6, 2021, R.X.Jiyankulova has been working as the head of the chair of General Technical Sciences and Technologies. Currently, this department operates within the Faculty of Arts and has following professors and teachers: doc.Suvonkulov, teacher B.Fozilov, senior teachers (deputy) Sh.Mamasoliyeva, (deputy) S.Igamov, (deputy) N.Nakhalbaev have been teaching students.Since the department joined the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute of SamSU in 2021-2022 academic year, the department has been engaged in pedagogical activities on the basis of 3 main and 3 associate professor teachers.From this, 1 associate professor, 1 (PhD) doctor, 1 senior teacher and 3 assistants. Teacher of the department S.Igamov defended his doctoral dissertation on "Innovative technologies for the development of creative competencies in the process of teaching students folk crafts." ”13.00.01 Theory and history of pedagogy PhD doctoral dissertation defense in accordance with December 2021.
