A poetry evening was held at the Information Resource Center named after A.S.Pushkin.

A group of poets: N.D.Ilin, N.Beloedova, N.Saylar took part in this poetry evening as guests. Poetry evenings like this have already become a good tradition and are always of interest to all fans of local writers. In this current meeting students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Humanities also attended. Each of the guests presented a genre description of their work, lyrical poems, epigrams and others. The speeches of N.D. Ilin, a well-known poet and translator, skillful scholar of Oriental poetry, aroused special interest among the participants. Except from his own creative work, he also showed translations of Alisher Navoi's works. He also spoke about the peculiarities of translation. The meeting was very interesting and creative, and the participants were very friendly. A desire has been expressed to continue this tradition. I would like other faculty students to join , as true creativity does not know professional, national or other boundaries.
