about the history of the department

    The department of ''Art Graphics and its teaching methods'' has been operating as a part of the Faculty of Arts since September 2,2010 by the decision of the Academic Council of the University on February 25,2010 and the order of the Rector of the University on June 7,2010  № 163.Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor M.Umarov, Head of the Chair, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, Professor E.Mukhammadiyev, Candidate of Arts, docent H.Jurayev, Candidates of Technical Sciences, Associate Professors S.Zokhidov, I.Suvonkulov, senior teacher D.Ergashev, teachers: A.Muminov, B.Mukhtarov, I.Izbosarov, D.Omonov, Sh.Oydinov, N. Mullajonova, E.Shavkiyev conducted educational, scientific-methodical, scientific research, organizational-methodical, spiritual-enlightenment and educational work. Professors and teachers of the department have been teaching these subjects to bachelor's students , 5140900-vocational education, 5211200- direction of applied art,5140200-labor education,5140700-Fine arts and engineering graphics, computer graphics, perspective, plastic anatomy, basics of color and composition, life safety, general history of fine arts , drawing, painting, design, artistic decoration of objects, geometric drawing, painting, wood carving,  methodology of teaching fine arts,methodology of engineering graphics, history of fine arts, painting, composition,  technology of fine arts and copying, sculpture, graphic geometry , geometric and projection drawing, mechanical drawing, architectural-construction drawing, topographic drawing, basics of graphic representation, modern technology of teaching the science of engineering graphics, descriptive geometry and engineering graphics. Professor E.Mukhammadiyev, associate professors M.Umarov, I.Suvonkulov, H.Jurayev, S.Zokhidov, B.Kulnazarov are involved in teaching master's degree, conducting scientific research, scientific pedagogical work, supervising master's dissertations. In order to carry out meaningful research work, rooms and workshops for painting, design, mechanical drawing, painting, plaster carving, wood carving, descriptive geometry, geometric and projection drawing were organized and equipped. The department pays great attention to conducting scientific research and work with gifted students. The main aim of the department: Development of modern pedagogical technologies for teaching "Fine Arts", "Applied Arts" and "Drawing" in universities and vocational colleges. The plan of the department for the training of scientific and pedagogical staffs for 2010-2015 is developed, which involves professors and teachers who conduct scientific research work on their topics: talented students annually participate in scientific conferences with their lectures in April. There is  "Artist" and "Painter" circles under the department.More than 60 students are attending.The creative work of well-known artists and folk masters are investigated and students participate in competitions with their own creative work.
