Today, February 9, a literary and educational evening was held in the central park named after Alisher Navoi in Samarkand city in connection with the 582nd anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and poet Alisher Navoi.
It was attended by representatives of regional and city administrations, regional HEIs and other organizations, poets, writers, literary critics, students, creative organizations and the general public, including the team of the Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute.
During the event, a flower-laying ceremony was held at the statue of Alisher Navoi, the Sultan of Poetry. Literary and reading events were organized in front of the famous writer's statue on the avenue with the participation of writers and poets, professors and teachers of higher educational institutions, and students.
