In the 70s of the 20th century, only two sexually transmitted diseases were known to many. By our time, their number has exceeded 25. Some of them are completely incurable, and the world's medical workers have not yet been able to create an effective treatment against them.
Sexually transmitted diseases include: HIV-AIDS, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Trichomoniasis, Mycoplasmosis, Ureplasmosis, Genital herpes, Pediculosis (head lice), Human papillomavirus, Hepatitis B.
In order to impart the above information to the general public and especially to young students, and to give them sufficient understanding, a preventive event was held at the Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute on the topic of "Venereal diseases transmitted by various means".
I. Kamolov, a specialist doctor of the Samarkand AIDS Center, took part in the event and gave detailed information about venereal diseases caused by various routes, ways of transmission and treatment methods based on visual sources.
In the end, the students received clear and sufficient answers to the questions they were interested in.
