Heads of regional departments of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of our Republic and heads of district and city departments of preschool and school education gathered in Samarkand.
The official leaders visited the 32nd general education school in Okdarya district and got acquainted with the work done there.
In the afternoon, a meeting was held on the ZOOM platform at the Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute under the chairmanship of O. Abdurakhmanov, the head of the Department of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations I. Abdurakhmanov, the Minister of Preschool and School Education H. Umarova, the Deputy Governor of the Samarkand Region H. Ochilov, the Rector of the Samarkand State University, the Scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Oliy Majlis Member of the Senate, Chairman of the Republican Council for the Development of Pedagogical Education, Rustam Kholmurodov, Rector of the Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute, Professor Sh. Negmatova, and heads of regional departments of the "Ministry of Preschool and School Education" took part.
Chairman of the Republican Council for the Development of Pedagogical Education, Rustam Kholmurodov, made a speech and spoke about the elimination of some problems observed in the pre-school and school education system, the use of the support of pedagogical institutes to improve the qualifications of teachers, the pre-school and school education system put forward a number of urgent issues, such as increasing the status of pedagogical institutes.
