Increasing the number of qualified teachers is our highest goal!

On January 22, 2022, a video conference on the development of school education was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The meeting put forward new initiatives to develop and reform the industry. “Reforms in the field of school education should be the task of ministries and departments, industry leaders, all levels of government, academia, the intelligentsia, the general public. Only then can the expected results be achieved, ”the head of state said at the beginning of the meeting. The fourth priority in the development strategy, 5 goals of the “100 goals for human dignity” and 18 tasks in them, are directly related to school education. The goals and objectives of the video conference were to be widely disseminated to schools in every province, district, city and village. Therefore, Professor Akram Begmatov, Director of the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov, together with the staff of the institute visited the 53rd school in Samarkand, which belongs to Sector 1. Currently, the school has a capacity of 416 students and 40 teachers. The main purpose of the visit was to explain the issues and proposals to the school staffs  discussed at the video conference and the work to be done to improve the skills of teachers. Educators also received answers to their questions on this issue.
