Rakhimov Gulom Yuldoshevich was born on January 1, 1967 in Fayfikent neighbourhood of Kushtepa rural citizens' counsel of Kattakurgan district of Samarkand region. In 1974-1984, he studied in the 29th High School of this district.. He was actively involved in public affairs, first as a class leader, then as a leader of ''Kamolot''.He served in the military from 1985 to 1987. After military service he studied at Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami in 1987-1992. G. Rakhimov graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami in 1992 and began his career in the 29th secondary school. For many years, he taught chemistry and biology at the school and participated in a number of competitions. Being a master of his pedagogical activity at the school, he loved the students, taught them new methods, gained a reputation among the community and became first category teacher. He came to Samarkand with his family in the early 2000s, taught biology to students at the city's 68th comprehensive school, and a year later at the Light Industry Vocational College, and worked as a group leader. In 2001 he was hired as a teacher of biology and chemistry at the Department of "Medical and biological bases of physical culture" of the Faculty of Physical Culture of Samarkand State University named after A. Navoi. Rakhimov quickly joined to the university team. The professor has developed a number of ways to communicate with teachers. He taught and coached students. He participated in various health tournaments. From the 2003-2004 academic year, he continued his work at the Department of Natural Sciences of the Faculty of Pedagogy.He actively participated during the landscaping and cotton harvest season. He made great achievements in scientific research work. He has authored a number of scientific and methodical articles and has been promoted from assistant to senior teacher. 2nd year students of primary education department, coached by G. Rakhimov, participated in the Republican competitions in the 2008-2009 academic year.From 2010-2011 academic year Rakhimov in accordance with the order of the Academic Council of SamSU on merging related sciences into departments of "Physiology, Genetics and Biochemistry" and "Ecology and Nature Protection" of the Faculty of Natural Sciences has been working on a full state unit. During his career, G. Rakhimov has worked effectively, conducted scientific research on himself and has published about 100 scientific and methodological articles. The topic of the dissertation was "Scientific basis of growing beets in the Zarafshan oasis" in the field of Botany, on which he successfully defended his dissertation in 2020 and became Ph.D. (PhD).Married. Rakhimov is also the beloved father of two children.
