According to the Decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 21, 2022 "On measures to increase the quality of pedagogical education and further develop the activities of higher educational institutions training pedagogic personnel" PQ-289, Uzbekistan-Finland of Samarkand State University The Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute was established on the basis of the Pedagogical Institute, and now students of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd levels are studying at the university. The institute does not have 4th level students.
The activity of the "Information center on student residences and rental apartments" has been systematically launched at the Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute. At the moment, the number of students at the institute is 8782, of which 5272 students study in the form of full-time education, 1995 students in the form of part-time education, and 1399 students in the form of evening education.
The capacity of student residences in the institute is 997 places. It can be seen that the housing needs of 2,416 students are met at the expense of rented apartments. Today, 456 places are reserved for students of the 2nd and 3rd level due to the social register, the placement of children with disabilities and foster children of orphanages. 541 places were allocated to students of the 1st stage, and as of September 4 at 19:00, 257 students recommended for the first stage were placed in the dormitory with a recommendation letter through the https://my.gov.uz/ platform. 284 places are planned for students of the first stage who have not yet arrived.
Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute is considered to be a state higher education institution and a higher educational institution operating in the system of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, as indicated in paragraph 13 of the above-mentioned Decision PQ-289 It is financed from the State budget and non-budgetary funds of the institute.
